With a population of over 85 million, Vietnam is a beautiful place with many unusual and attractive features. The rich history of this South Eastern country is very complex and interesting. For thousands of years, this country, that is famous for its bio-diversity, was ruled over by China. In the 10th century, VietnamĀ became a nation state, But in the 19th century the exotic Country was colonized by the French. During World War II a communist leader named Ho Chi Minh, lead a national uprising against occupying Japanese forces. This led to the dividing of the Country into the north and south states. There were 20 years of civil war between North Vietnam and South Vietnam. In 1976, the country was reunified under a Communist regime.
Vietnam now maintains diplomatic relations with 140 countries.

Ha Long Bay Is a rich natural treasure of Vietnam. It boasts 1,969 islands and an islet situated in the Gulf of Tonkin, and displays a phenomenal seascape view of limestone pillars. This beautiful location is recognized as a World Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Vietnam is famous for its beautiful beaches along the Pacific Ocean and has a thriving tourist trade. It is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. This Narrow S shaped country is also the world’s largest exporter of cashews in the world and the second largest exporter of coffee and rice.
Education is a priority in Vietnam and even though considered a third world country the literacy rate is 94%.
